AVAILABLE COURSES FOR MANUTENTION

The Australian Association of Manutention Practitioners is responsible for the development and ongoing evaluation of accredited training packages promoting the method of Manutention as the skills based component of an integrated systems approach to the reduction of manual handling risk.

• AAMP provides accredited training courses for workers in health care and in general industry under the guidelines of the OH&S.
• AAMP provides career development and advancement opportunities through its competency-based training and assessment system.
• AAMP recognises the autonomy of its trainers and their right to compete for training contracts and protect their individual customer base.
• AAMP recognises that trainers, as agents of third parties, will be required to comply with the Policies and Procedures of those third parties.Trainers must use their discretion to ensure that so far as is practicable and reasonable compliance does not infringe on the Policies and Procedures of the Australian Association of Manutention Practitioners.
• AAMP is responsible for maintaining a national record keeping system that ensures trainers' and trainees' information is current, valid and confidential.
